Art Psychotherapist
A Person-Centred Approach to Healing
I am a HCPC-registered Art Psychotherapist based in Whitchurch, offering a warm, non-judgemental space where creativity can become a pathway to understanding, healing, and personal growth.
I have experience supporting children, young people, and families in a variety of settings, with a particular interest in trauma and attachment. My work has included supporting children and families involved in foster care, where I take a compassionate, relationship-focused approach that helps people feel understood, and valued.
I also work in local primary and secondary schools, providing art therapy for children and young people with a wide range of emotional, social, behavioural, and developmental needs.
My approach is person-centred, with therapy shaped around your individual needs and at a pace that feels right for you. I offer a safe, creative space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences with curiosity and without judgement. Play is an important part of my work, using art, imagination, and creative exploration to support expression, reflection, and healing.
You don't need any artistic experience to benefit from art therapy. The creative process isn't about making something beautiful—it's about finding new ways to express, understand, and process experiences that can be difficult to put into words.
